The Nepal Rastra Bank has set the foreign exchange rates for today. The buying rate of one US dollar has been fixed at NPR 148.67 and the selling rate at NPR 149.27.
The buying rate of one Euro is NPR 171.62 and the selling rate NPR 172.31. Similarly, one UK Pound Sterling has a buying rate of NPR 196.76 and a selling rate of NPR 197.55, while one Swiss Franc has a buying rate of NPR 186.22 and a selling rate of NPR 186.97.
The buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 102.71 and the selling rate NPR 103.12. Likewise, one Canadian dollar has a buying rate of NPR 106.76 and a selling rate of NPR 107.19, and one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of NPR 115.65 and a selling rate of NPR 116.11.
For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese Yen is NPR 9.32 and the selling rate NPR 9.36. One Chinese Yuan has a buying rate of NPR 21.61 and a selling rate of NPR 21.69. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian Riyal is NPR 39.59 and the selling rate NPR 39.75, while one Qatari Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 40.78 and a selling rate of NPR 40.94.
According to the central bank, one Thai Baht has a buying rate of NPR 4.57 and a selling rate of NPR 4.58. One UAE Dirham has a buying rate of NPR 40.48 and a selling rate of NPR 40.64. One Malaysian Ringgit has a buying rate of NPR 36.88 and a selling rate of NPR 37.03. The buying rate of 100 South Korean Won is NPR 9.85 and the selling rate NPR 9.89. One Swedish Krona has a buying rate of NPR 15.76 and a selling rate of NPR 15.82, and one Danish Krone has a buying rate of NPR 22.96 and a selling rate of NPR 23.06.
Similarly, one Hong Kong dollar has a buying rate of NPR 18.97 and a selling rate of NPR 19.05. The buying rate of one Kuwaiti Dinar is NPR 484.50 and the selling rate NPR 486.46. One Bahraini Dinar has a buying rate of NPR 393.83 and a selling rate of NPR 395.42, while one Omani Riyal has a buying rate of NPR 386.21 and a selling rate of NPR 387.76.
The buying rate of 100 Indian Rupees has been fixed at NPR 160 and the selling rate at NPR 160.15.
The central bank stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that the rates set by commercial banks may vary, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s official website.
