Former Crown Prince Paras Shah has been admitted to Norvic International Hospital in Thapathali, Kathmandu, earlier this morning.
According to hospital sources, Shah was admitted for a routine health check-up.
Doctors are currently in consultation regarding the possible replacement of his pacemaker, a device that helps regulate heartbeats.
Shah has a history of multiple heart attacks in the past.
