Kathmandu — Former Prime Minister and Communist Party of Nepal (UML) chairman K.P. Sharma Oli and former Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak will be held together in custody.
The two leaders, arrested early Saturday morning, are set to be kept at the Nepal Police 2nd Battalion in Maharajgunj. Lekhak has already been brought to the camp, and preparations are underway to place Oli there as well.
Lekhak was transferred to the 2nd Battalion after a health checkup. Despite Oli’s kidney-related health concerns, authorities have decided to hold him in the camp rather than admit him to the hospital.
