Four Al Jazeera journalists were killed in an Israeli attack near Al-Shifa Hospital in Gaza City, according to reports.
The network said its correspondents Anas Al-Sharif and Mohammad Orek, along with cameramen Ibrahim Zaher and Mohammad Noufal, were targeted while inside a tent designated for journalists near the hospital’s main gate.
Al-Sharif had recently protested against a campaign launched by the Israeli military two weeks ago targeting journalists in Gaza. The Israeli army has accused him of being the head of a Hamas militant cell.
