Four individuals have been arrested for attacking a police team deployed for nighttime security in Lalitpur.
On Monday night, a Quick Response Team (QRT) from the Police Post in Lubhu was on patrol duty. While patrolling in the Changathali area of Mahalaxmi Municipality–7, Lalitpur, a group of individuals allegedly hurled stones at the police team.
According to police, those arrested include 29-year-old Buddha Tamang (also known as Bikash) from Makwanpur, 20-year-old Ramesh Shahi and 20-year-old Shankar Shahi from Salyan, and 22-year-old Raju Magar from Rukum. They have been taken into custody, and an eight-day remand has been granted by the Lalitpur District Court for further investigation.
Police personnel injured in the attack are currently receiving treatment at KIST Hospital.
