Four individuals involved in the Sindhuli Nepal SBI Bank robbery have been arrested.
On Tuesday evening around 7 PM, a six-member masked gang assaulted the security guard and looted NPR 3,10,95,283 from the Nepal SBI Bank, Ghyanglekh–2, Basti Pur, Hayutar branch. Out of the six robbers, four have been apprehended.
According to SP Lal Dhwaj Subedi, Chief of Sindhuli District Police, the suspects were caught in Ghyanglekh–1, Sukachuri with the help of local residents.
Of the stolen amount, NPR 1,80,10,500 has been recovered. The police, with assistance from locals, have retrieved the money from various locations, while efforts to apprehend the remaining robbers and recover the rest of the money are ongoing.
