Four people were injured after a Scorpio vehicle met with an accident at Sukaurabesi in Indrasarovar Rural Municipality–2 of Makwanpur District along the Kulekhani–Fakhel–Kathmandu road section.
According to police, the Scorpio (registration number Na 4 Cha 9777) was traveling from Birgunj to Kathmandu when the driver reportedly fell asleep, causing the vehicle to lose control and plunge about 30 meters off the road.
The injured have been identified as the driver Vijay Yadav of Kalaiya–2, Bara; 50-year-old Santosh Kumar Gupta of Kalaiya–7, Barewa; his 40-year-old wife Shobha Gupta; and their 16-year-old son Anmol Gupta.
All four are receiving treatment at a local health institution. Police said further investigation into the accident is underway.
