Gandaki Province Cricket Team defeated Lumbini Province Cricket Team by 8 wickets in the ongoing Prime Minister Cup on Sunday.
Chasing a target of 208 runs, Gandaki comfortably reached 208/2 in 44.1 overs. Arjun Kumal starred in the chase with a brilliant unbeaten 103-run century—his second hundred of this PM Cup. Kribin Shrestha contributed 43 runs, while Dipak Dumre added 25 and Muskan Thapa scored 23.
Earlier, Lumbini were bowled out for 207 runs in 45 overs after electing to bat first. Santosh Yadav top-scored with 82 runs and Salauddin Khan added 60.
For Gandaki, bowler Bipin Khatri claimed 4 wickets, Aparajit Paudel took 3, and Kribin Shrestha picked up 2 wickets.
With this victory, Gandaki now have 7 points from 8 matches and sit in eighth position in the standings. Lumbini also have 7 points from 7 matches and are placed seventh.
