After being invited for talks by the President and the Nepal Army, Gen Z activists are currently engaged in a virtual discussion to finalize their agenda.
More than 3,200 youths are debating on Discord, focusing on issues such as the future course of action, the model of governance, and the tenure of the executive.
They are also holding internal discussions on who should represent them in negotiations and who should take leadership.
Another key agenda under debate is the timeline for elections following the dissolution of parliament.
Participants are leaning toward demands such as: dissolution of parliament, holding elections within at least six months and at most one year, a directly elected prime minister, a prime ministerial term of four or five years, and a two-term limit (8–10 years maximum) for any individual to serve as prime minister.
