The Gen Z protest in Kathmandu has taken a tense turn, with some demonstrators breaking through police security and entering the Parliament building.
According to eyewitnesses, the protesters climbed over the main gate of the parliamentary premises to gain access.
Although security personnel attempted to stop them, the crowd’s pressure made it difficult to maintain control. The police are now using tear gas to disperse the demonstrators.
The situation inside the parliamentary area remains tense, and additional security forces have been deployed to manage the unrest.
