As part of nationwide protests on Tuesday against the government’s brutal crackdown on Monday, Gen Z activists have targeted the Chief Minister offices in Madhesh and Sudurpashchim provinces.
Protesters entered the offices, throwing stones in both locations—Madhesh Province’s Chief Minister Office in Janakpurdham and Sudurpashchim Province’s Chief Minister Office in Dhangadhi.
The protests in both provincial capitals have intensified since early Tuesday morning. On Monday, the government’s violent suppression of demonstrations resulted in 19 deaths, and hundreds of injured protesters are receiving treatment in various hospitals.
