Gold and silver prices in the Nepali market recorded a slight decline on Thursday. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold decreased by Rs 600 per tola today.
The federation has fixed the price of fine gold at Rs 267,500 per tola for Thursday. On Wednesday, gold was traded at Rs 268,100 per tola, which was the highest price ever recorded in the Nepali market.
Along with gold, silver prices also saw a decline. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,420 per tola on Wednesday, dropped by Rs 20 to Rs 4,400 per tola on Thursday.
The federation determines daily prices in the domestic market based on fluctuations in the international market. Although gold prices have been setting new records recently due to the strengthening of the US dollar, a slight correction has been observed today.
