Gold prices in Nepal continued their upward trend for the week, rising again on Tuesday. Compared to Monday, gold increased by Rs 300 per tola. Earlier, on Monday, gold had surged by Rs 5,200 per tola compared to Sunday.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold is now being traded at Rs 3,09,300 per tola, marking the highest price ever recorded in the country.
Silver prices also rose, increasing by Rs 105 per tola on Tuesday. Silver is currently traded at Rs 6,870 per tola, up from Monday’s Rs 6,765 per tola. On Sunday, silver was priced at Rs 6,480 per tola.
International media report that today, one ounce of gold is trading at USD 5,073, while an equivalent amount of silver is priced at USD 109 on global markets.
