On Monday, the price of gold increased by NPR 3,200 per tola. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, gold was priced at NPR 313,500 per tola on this day, up from NPR 310,300 per tola the previous day.
Previously, on Magh 15, gold had reached its all-time high of NPR 339,000 per tola.
Meanwhile, silver prices rose by NPR 170 per tola, from NPR 5,425 the previous day to NPR 5,595 per tola. Silver had hit a record high of NPR 7,505 per tola on Magh 15.
