The price of gold and silver has increased in the Nepali market on the final trading day of the week.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold has increased by Rs 2,200 per tola today, reaching Rs 296,900 per tola. Yesterday, the price had dropped by Rs 4,300 to Rs 294,700 per tola.
Similarly, silver has increased by Rs 85 per tola today, reaching Rs 4,960 per tola. Yesterday, silver had fallen by Rs 150 per tola to Rs 4,875.
Earlier, on Magh 15, gold prices had surged by Rs 20,500 in a single day, reaching Rs 339,300 per tola, which remains the highest recorded price so far in the Nepali market.
On Magh 18, silver saw its biggest single-day drop of Rs 1,565 per tola. Silver had previously reached its highest price of Rs 7,505 per tola on Magh 15.
