Gold and silver prices in the local market recorded a slight increase today. Gold rose by Rs 400 per tola, while silver increased by Rs 70.
According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of fine gold (hallmarked) has been set at Rs 309,900 per tola today, while silver is priced at Rs 5,335 per tola.
On Monday, the price of fine gold was Rs 309,500 per tola, and silver was traded at Rs 5,265 per tola. Similarly, on Sunday, gold was priced at Rs 309,400 per tola, while silver stood at Rs 5,270 per tola.
According to international media reports, gold is currently being traded at 5,030 US dollars per ounce in the international market, while silver is priced at 80 US dollars per ounce.
