The prices of gold and silver have seen a significant increase in the local market over the past four days. According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, today the price of one tola of gold has reached NPR 278,000, while silver of the same weight is priced at NPR 5,655.
On Tuesday, one tola of gold was traded at NPR 276,500, and silver at NPR 5,340. Similarly, silver prices have also risen; one tola of silver was sold at NPR 4,990 on Sunday and NPR 5,195 yesterday.
