
The Nepali market witnessed a significant rise in gold prices on Sunday.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of sheet gold (Chhapawal) increased by Rs. 3,000 per tola, reaching Rs. 238,000 per tola. On Friday, sheet gold was traded at Rs. 235,000 per tola.
Similarly, silver prices also hit a new historic high. On Sunday, the price of silver rose by Rs. 40 per tola, reaching Rs. 3,125 per tola. On Friday, silver was traded at Rs. 3,085 per tola.
The association noted that this increase sets a new record for silver prices in the Nepali market.
