On Friday, the price of gold in Nepal fell by NPR 7,800 per tola. The Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Federation set today’s gold price at NPR 294,500 per tola, down from NPR 302,300 the previous day.
Similarly, the price of silver declined by NPR 115 per tola, with the federation fixing today’s silver rate at NPR 4,895 per tola, compared to NPR 5,010 the previous day.
The highest recorded price for gold and silver was on Magh 15, when gold reached NPR 339,300 per tola and silver hit NPR 7,505 per tola. Since that peak, the gold price has dropped by approximately NPR 45,000 per tola.
