The price of gold in the Nepali market dropped on Sunday following the Tihar festival. According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold decreased by Rs. 11,600 per tola today.
With the latest adjustment, the price of gold has been fixed at Rs. 2,41,900 per tola. Before Tihar, on Kartik 3, gold was traded at Rs. 2,53,500 per tola. This is the first price adjustment in Nepal after the festival season.
Similarly, the price of silver has also decreased. Silver fell by Rs. 265 per tola today. Before Tihar, silver was traded at Rs. 3,280 per tola, but it now stands at Rs. 3,015 per tola.
