The price of gold has reached a new record in the local market. Compared to Thursday, the price of gold per tola increased by NPR 1,200, while silver of the same quantity rose by NPR 5.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders’ Association, today the price of one tola of gold is set at NPR 260,000, and silver of the same quantity is being traded at NPR 2,360.
On Thursday, one tola of gold was traded at NPR 199,400, and silver at NPR 2,355.
According to international media, gold is being traded at USD 3,408 per ounce today.
