The Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Traders has announced that the price of gold rose by NPR 2,800 per tola on Wednesday, reaching NPR 242,300 per tola. The previous day, gold was traded at NPR 239,500 per tola.
Gold prices have shown significant volatility in recent days. Just yesterday, the price had dropped by NPR 3,800 per tola in a single day. The record highest price so far was NPR 258,000 per tola on Asoj 31.
Silver prices also increased on Wednesday. Previously traded at NPR 3,090 per tola, silver now costs NPR 3,150 per tola. The record highest price for silver was NPR 3,350 per tola on Asoj 31.
