On Sunday, the price of gold in the Nepalese market surged sharply. The price of gold increased by NPR 9,500 per tola.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, gold that was traded at NPR 291,000 per tola on Friday is being traded at NPR 300,500 per tola today.
Similarly, the price of silver also rose by NPR 300 per tola, reaching NPR 5,010 per tola, the association reported.
