Gold prices in Nepal have reached a record high.
According to the Nepal Gold and Silver Traders Association, on Monday, the price of standard gold increased by NPR 5,200 per tola, reaching NPR 309,000 per tola — the highest ever recorded.
Previously, on Sunday, gold was priced at NPR 303,800 per tola. Compared to Friday, Sunday saw an increase of NPR 2,400 per tola, while Friday’s price was NPR 301,400 per tola. On Thursday, gold was priced at NPR 292,200 per tola. Notably, gold surged by NPR 9,200 in a single day on Friday.
Silver prices have also risen. Today, silver is trading at NPR 6,765 per tola, up from NPR 6,480 on Sunday and NPR 6,190 on Friday.
