GoldenGate Basketball Club clinched the title of the Himalayan Java Basketball League by defeating departmental side Tribhuvan Army Club 95–74 in the final held at the covered hall of Dasharath Rangasala Covered Hall.
Previously, Army had beaten GoldenGate three times—twice in the league stage and once in the first qualifier. However, Army appeared weaker in the final as GoldenGate dominated the match.
GoldenGate took an early lead of 24–14 in the first quarter. They continued their strong performance in the second quarter, winning it 17–12 to head into halftime with a 41–26 advantage.
GoldenGate extended their lead further by winning the third quarter 27–25. They sealed the victory by taking the fourth quarter 27–23. Jain Khan of GoldenGate was declared the Player of the Match.
With the title win, GoldenGate received a cash prize of NPR 400,000. Runner-up Army received NPR 200,000, while third-placed Times Basketball Club earned NPR 100,000.
The league, organized by the Nepal Basketball Association, featured eight teams competing in a double round-robin format, with the top four advancing to the playoffs. The awards were presented by Member Secretary of the National Sports Council, Ram Charitra Mehta, among others.
