
The government has made public the decisions of the Cabinet meeting held on Bhadra 2. Minister for Communication and Information Technology as well as government spokesperson Prithvi Subba Gurung announced the decisions on Wednesday.
The Cabinet approved several foreign visits and endorsed an agreement to receive concessional loan assistance from the Government of Japan. Under this agreement, Nepal will obtain JPY 34.49 billion (approximately NPR 30.8 billion) to implement the Koteshwor Intersection Improvement Project.
Additionally, the Cabinet decided to dismiss Sharad Ojha, Chairperson of the Board of Directors of the Nepal Insurance Authority, citing misconduct, lack of efficiency, and failure to fulfill official responsibilities.
