Harimohan Bhandari of the Rastriya Swatantra Party has been elected from Baitadi, the district with a single parliamentary constituency.
He defeated his closest rival, Nepali Congress candidate Chatur Bahadur Chand, by a margin of 3,940 votes.
According to the final count, Bhandari secured 22,134 votes, while Chand received 18,194 votes. CPN-UML candidate Damodar Bhandari obtained 17,091 votes, and NCP candidate Parmanand Bhatt received 6,965 votes.
Rastriya Prajatantra Party candidate Bhupen Chand secured 2,681 votes, while other candidates failed to cross 1,000 votes. In total, 11 candidates—including one independent—contested in Baitadi.
