Chairperson of the Shram Sanskriti Party, Harka Sampang, has extended his lead in Sunsari Constituency No. 1 in the ongoing vote count.
According to the latest vote count update, Sampang has secured 30,557 votes. Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) candidate Goma Tamang has received 16,236 votes.
Sampang is currently leading by a margin of 14,321 votes.
Similarly, Nepal Communist Party candidate Surya Bahadur Bhattarai has secured 5,148 votes, while CPN-UML candidate Tikaram Limbu has received 3,854 votes.
