Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) President Rabi Lamichhane’s petition for release from detention has concluded its hearing, and the court is now in the process of drafting the verdict.
According to Padam Aryal, Information Officer at Rupandehi District Court, the hearing took place in the bench of Judge Narayan Prasad Sapkota (Bench No. 10) and has now moved into the order-writing stage. “The hearing is over, and the order is being drafted,” he said.
Lamichhane has been in Rupandehi Prison since April 7 in connection with the Butwal Supreme Cooperative fraud case.
