The hearing of the corruption case involving former ministers Rajkumar Gupta and Ranjita Shrestha, linked to the litchi plantation bribery scandal in Kaski, has been postponed.
The case was scheduled before a Supreme Court bench comprising Justices Nahakul Subedi and Srikant Paudel Kaski District Land Revenue Office Chief Ramchandra Adhikari.
Shrestha and Adhikari had previously been released on bail of Rs. 500,000 each by the Special Court. Following this, the Commission for the Investigation of Abuse of Authority challenged the bail orders in the Supreme Court, seeking their cancellation.
