The Department of Hydrology and Meteorology has forecast heavy rainfall in Koshi and Madhesh provinces this afternoon, with continuous downpours expected for 10 to 12 hours.
There is also a possibility of brief heavy rain in Kathmandu tomorrow morning. After that, the rain-causing system is expected to move westward, bringing heavy rainfall to western Nepal tomorrow night.
Alongside the rains, there is a risk of floods and landslides in the southern parts of Koshi, Madhesh, and Lumbini provinces, as well as other affected regions.
