A high-level meeting was held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar to analyze the country’s current security situation and determine necessary measures.
The meeting was attended by Prime Minister Sushila Karki, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal, Home Secretary Rameshwar Dangol, and the chiefs of all four security agencies. According to the Prime Minister’s Secretariat, security officials briefed the leaders on the current situation.
After the meeting, Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal stated, “We have conducted a detailed analysis of the security situation. We have received information that various groups are preparing for demonstrations. Everyone is free to raise their political demands responsibly.”
He added that the government has kept the door open for dialogue and will engage in talks with the concerned parties to address political issues.
