Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal has said that the GenZ movement has made displaced political leaders realize that there are capable individuals within their own parties.
Speaking to journalists at the Ministry of Home Affairs, Minister Aryal remarked that those leaders were displaced by the people’s movement because they failed to provide good governance.
“The rebellion ousted those who delivered misgovernance instead of good governance,” he said. “Now, they should realize that there are other competent people within their parties who can lead. But instead, they have started lamenting.”
Aryal stated that the government is serious about maintaining law and order and informed that the process to bring escaped prisoners under control is ongoing.
Responding to accusations from some political parties that there is no assurance of peace and security, Aryal said, “Those who misused security personnel against regulations — using them for personal work — are now complaining about the lack of security after the personnel were withdrawn.”
The Home Minister added that individuals who personally feel threatened can submit a formal request, saying, “Once a complaint is filed, the threat will be assessed, and necessary action will be taken.”
