Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal held a courtesy meeting with the Acting Ambassador of the United States to Nepal, Scott Armbrecht, on Monday. The meeting took place at the Ministry of Home Affairs, where the two discussed the latest political situation, the upcoming elections, and US assistance and cooperation in Nepal.
During the meeting, Minister Aryal said the government is working intensively to maintain peace and security and to ensure that the House of Representatives election scheduled for Falgun 21 is conducted in a free, fair, and fear-free environment.
Acting Ambassador Armbrecht stated that the friendly relations between Nepal and the United States will continue and are expected to become even stronger in the coming days.
