Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal assessed the damage caused during the Jenji movement on Wednesday. While observing the Nepal Police Headquarters, he directed police personnel to remain dedicated to the nation and the people with high morale.
“The community’s goodwill in helping to restore damaged police units and uplift morale has reaffirmed the importance and necessity of the police. You must continue to serve in the people’s interest with strong determination,” Minister Aryal said.
He further instructed the Nepal Police to address weaknesses within the organization and perform duties in accordance with the law. “The government trusts that you will carry out your responsibilities with discipline and integrity. This government stands in favor of highly motivated police personnel,” he added.
Earlier, Minister Aryal also visited the Kathmandu Valley Police Office in Ranipokhari.
The program saw virtual participation from police chiefs of all seven provinces, district police offices, and area police offices.
