Home Minister Sudhan Gurung visited injured victims of the Gen-Z protest at KMC Hospital to personally assess their health condition.
During the visit, former lawmaker and doctor Sunil Sharma informed the minister that most of the injured are receiving treatment free of cost. He added that some patients are still unconscious and are being kept under close medical supervision at the hospital.
Minister Gurung thanked Dr. Sharma, saying, “You have not only treated the injured but also wiped the tears of their families. Your service deserves continuous respect.”
Dr. Sharma expressed appreciation for the minister’s visit and said that arrangements have been made to ensure free treatment for all those injured in the incident.
The Home Minister reached the hospital directly after completing an inspection at Tribhuvan International Airport, where he inquired in detail about the condition of the injured and extended his gratitude to Dr. Sharma.
