The Ministry of Home Affairs has instructed all District Administration Offices (DAOs) to display the names of 45 individuals declared as GenZ Governance Martyrs in the office chambers of the respective Chief District Officers (CDOs).
The ministry issued a circular today to all 77 district offices, directing them to arrange the display within three days. Home Minister Om Prakash Aryal made the ministerial decision earlier today, according to the ministry.
Forty-five individuals who died during the protests on Bhadra 23 and 24 were declared martyrs by the government. The official notice regarding their martyr status was published in the Nepal Gazette on Kartik 17.
