The meeting of the House of Representatives of the Federal Parliament is scheduled to take place today at 1:00 PM at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.
In today’s session, the Speaker will read out letters received from the Office of the President and the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers regarding additional responsibilities.
Similarly, House Secretary Harkaraj Rai will table the “Water Resources Bill” along with a message received from the National Assembly. Minister for Agriculture and Livestock Development, Rammnath Adhikari, will propose that the House consider the “Nepal Veterinary Council (First Amendment) Bill, 2082.”
Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak is also scheduled to present a proposal to deliberate on the “Nepal Citizenship (Second Amendment) Bill, 2081” as amended by the National Assembly.
In addition, the Committee on Federalism Strengthening and National Concerns will also meet today. The committee will discuss the annual report for fiscal year 2081/82 and the draft annual work plan for fiscal year 2082/83.
