The meeting of the House of Representatives, scheduled for 1 PM on Wednesday, Bhadra 25, has been postponed indefinitely after the parliament building was destroyed.
Speaker, invoking Rule 6(3) of the House of Representatives Regulations, 2079, decided to suspend the session until further notice, citing “special reasons” for being unable to convene the meeting.
General Secretary of the House Secretariat, Padma Prasad Pandey, issued a notice informing all lawmakers about the decision.
