
KATHMANDU, Aug 6 (RSS): The meeting of the House of Representatives under the Federal Parliament is scheduled for 1 PM today at the Federal Parliament Building in New Baneshwar.
According to the tentative agenda, Minister for Industry, Commerce, and Supplies, Damodar Bhandari, will present a proposal for deliberation on the “Industrial Property Bill, 2082” during the meeting.
Likewise, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel is set to present a proposal for discussion on the “Customs Bill, 2080”, as amended by the National Assembly.
Meanwhile, meetings of four parliamentary committees are also scheduled for today. These include the International Relations and Tourism Committee, Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee, Legislation Management Committee, and the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee.
The International Relations Committee will hold a thematic discussion on the “Current Status, Progress, and Challenges of the Lumbini Development Trust”.
The Agriculture, Cooperative and Natural Resources Committee will conduct a clause-wise discussion on the “Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts Related to Land, 2082”.
The Legislation Management Committee is set to discuss the draft report on the “Water Resources Bill, 2081”.
Similarly, the Public Policy and Delegated Legislation Committee will deliberate on a report related to National Parks.
