Earlier, India batted first and posted 193 runs for the loss of 6 wickets in 20 overs.
With this win, India finished at the top of Group A with 8 points from four consecutive victories and advanced to the Super Eight stage. Meanwhile, the Netherlands ended their World Cup campaign in the group stage with 2 points, having secured one win and suffered three defeats in four matches.
From Group A, India and Pakistan progressed to the Super Eight. From Group B, Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe advanced; from Group C, West Indies and England qualified; and from Group D, South Africa and New Zealand reached the final eight.
