Newly appointed Interim Prime Minister Sushila Karki is scheduled to assume office today. According to the Office of the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers, she will formally take charge at 11 AM at Singha Durbar.
Preparations have been made to operate the Prime Minister’s Office from the new building of the Ministry of Home Affairs. Since the official residence at Baluwatar was damaged during the recent protests, Prime Minister Karki has been staying at her private residence.
