An intern doctor tragically died after falling from a building at Nobel Medical College in Biratnagar. The deceased has been identified as 34-year-old Amit Yadav from Jagdari, Ward No. 9, Rajbiraj Municipality, Saptari.
According to police, the incident occurred on Sunday morning around 6:30 AM, when Yadav fell from the fifth floor of a building near the main gate of Nobel Medical College.
He was immediately admitted to the hospital’s emergency department in critical condition, but succumbed to his injuries at 7:25 AM, according to Deepesh Rai, Administrator of Nobel Teaching Hospital.
Yadav was working as an MBBS intern doctor at the medical college.
Police have stated that further investigation is underway, and preliminary inquiries are being conducted to determine the cause of the incident from various perspectives.
