Rafah – The Israeli army has demolished another high-rise building in Gaza City. The targeted structure, known as the Susi Tower, was hit for the second day in a row.
Israeli Defense Minister Israel Katz shared a video of the demolition on the microblogging platform X. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) claimed that Hamas had been using the building, though Hamas has denied this allegation.
It remains unclear whether there were any casualties in the strike. Prior to Saturday’s attack, Israel had dropped leaflets urging Palestinians to move to the southern region of Gaza, which Israel designates as a “humanitarian zone.”
The Susi Tower is the second-tallest building to be destroyed in recent days. On Friday, a video circulating on social media showed the Mushtaha Tower in the Al-Rimal area collapsing after a massive explosion.
