The Janata Samajwadi Party (JSP) Nepal is set to submit a memorandum to the Prime Minister on Wednesday.
According to the party’s Publicity Department Chief, Purna Basnet, the decision was made during the recently concluded meeting of the party’s Central Executive Committee. As per the protest programs announced earlier, the memorandum will be submitted to the Prime Minister through the District Administration Office.
Similarly, JSP Nepal will organize various protest programs and corner meetings in different towns of each parliamentary constituency from December 11 to 15 as part of public mobilization.
The party has also decided to hold peaceful sit-in protests with placards and banners highlighting their demands and issues in front of District Administration Offices across the country on December 19 and 21. Furthermore, district-level protest assemblies and mass gatherings will be held from December 27 to January 4.
As part of the province-level demonstration and protest program, mass gatherings will be held in:
- Biratnagar on January 12
- Janakpur on January 14
- Birgunj on January 15
- Bhairahawa on January 17
In addition, district or provincial committees may decide on further protest activities, Basnet added.
