The Kalimaati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the wholesale prices of agricultural produce for today. According to the committee, large Indian tomatoes are priced at NPR 105 per kg, small local tomatoes at NPR 70 per kg, tunnel-grown small tomatoes at NPR 100 per kg, small Indian tomatoes at NPR 80 per kg, and small Terai tomatoes at NPR 95 per kg. Red potatoes are priced at NPR 32 per kg, Indian red potatoes at NPR 27 per kg, and dry Indian onions at NPR 45 per kg.
Similarly, local carrots are priced at NPR 80 per kg, Terai carrots at NPR 70 per kg, local cabbage at NPR 80 per kg, Terai cabbage at NPR 55 per kg, coconut cabbage at NPR 60 per kg, local cauliflower at NPR 120 per kg, Jyapu cauliflower at NPR 140 per kg, Terai cauliflower at NPR 100 per kg, red radish at NPR 40 per kg, local white radish at NPR 20 per kg, hybrid white radish at NPR 25 per kg, long eggplant at NPR 70 per kg, round eggplant at NPR 80 per kg, and maize pods at NPR 50 per kg.
