
The Kalimati Fruits and Vegetables Market Development Committee has fixed the maximum wholesale prices for agricultural produce for today (Saturday).
For vegetables, the rates include: Large Tomato (Nepali) at Rs. 75 per kg, Red Potato (Mude) at Rs. 45 per kg, Onion (Indian) at Rs. 39 per kg, Carrot (Local) at Rs. 120 per kg, Cauliflower at Rs. 100 per kg, Mustard Greens and Spinach at Rs. 140 per kg, Button Mushroom at Rs. 350 per kg, Broccoli at Rs. 280 per kg, and Asparagus at Rs. 500 per kg.
For fruits, the prices are: Apple (Fuji) at Rs. 300 per kg, Banana (per dozen) at Rs. 120, Pomegranate at Rs. 350 per kg, Junar (Sweet Orange) at Rs. 250 per kg, Kiwi at Rs. 400 per kg, Avocado at Rs. 300 per kg, and Custard Apple at Rs. 200 per kg.
For spices and others: Ginger at Rs. 120 per kg, Green Coriander at Rs. 200 per kg, Garlic (Nepali) at Rs. 160 per kg, Akabare Chili at Rs. 220 per kg, Dried Chili at Rs. 400 per kg, Green Chyapi Mushroom at Rs. 280 per kg, Dried Fish at Rs. 1000 per kg, and Shitake Mushroom at Rs. 1000 per kg.
