The Kanti Lokpath road, which connects Hetauda and Kathmandu, has been completely obstructed since this morning (Saturday) after a truck overturned on the roadway.
According to Pushkar Bogati, spokesperson for the Makwanpur District Police Office, a truck (Na.3Kha 3192) carrying medicines from Birgunj to Kathmandu lost control due to brake failure and overturned at Baguwa in Bhimphedi Rural Municipality–8, Makwanpur, blocking the road entirely.
Due to the obstruction, vehicles traveling from Hetauda to Kathmandu and those coming from Kathmandu to Hetauda have been stranded on the way. Efforts are underway to remove the truck from the accident site and restore normal traffic flow.
