Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) has decided not to resign from his post today.
According to one of the mayor’s advisors, Balen plans to retain his position for now.
The advisor also mentioned that once he files his candidacy for the upcoming elections, the mayoral post will be automatically vacated. Meanwhile, Balen is preparing to go to Ghantighar without submitting a resignation.
