Kathmandu Metropolitan City has announced that it will carry out monitoring and on-site inspections of all cooperative institutions operating within its jurisdiction.
Issuing a notice today, the Cooperative Department of Kathmandu Metropolitan City stated that the inspection and monitoring process of cooperatives is set to begin. The metropolitan authority has requested all concerned cooperatives to provide 14 types of details, including required documents and records, to the inspection team during the visit.
According to the notice, the inspections aim to assess the operational, financial, and administrative status of cooperatives and ensure compliance with prevailing laws and regulations.
